Car history:
Nicely restored 1968 Corvette that is well done. It is documented with a partial tank sticker, owners manual and Protecto-Plate. The title also shows 67,000 actual miles! This was a recent restoration with a fresh motor so she still looks very nice. This Vette also has both soft and hard tops. The body is real nice and looks beautiful. There are no cracks in the finish. The red paint is super smooth with an awesome shine to it. Its show quality. The chrome and trim are in nice shape. There is a optional luggage rack on the back that gives a nice accent to the body. The black interior is in really nice shape. The seats are clean. The carpet is replaced. The door panels are in nice condition. A wood steering wheel adds some class to this muscular sports car. The dash is nice as well. The clock works nicely. In the dash is an AM/FM/Cassette stereo that fits in the stock location with remote CD changer. It also has factory power windows. The convertible top was recently replaced and still looks new. The factory A/C was just recently serviced with a new compressor and other parts so it works fine. Also recently replaced was the entire vacuum system for the headlights and wiper door including new actuator cans and correct striped vacuum hoses. The headlights and wipers work perfect. The engine is an 350 4-bolt 010 block with a performance rebuild by a very reputable speed shop in North Carolina who has NASCAR experience. This engine has a lot of power and is well done. There is a nice lopy cam in it for that killer performance sound. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake with Holley Carburetor provides the fuel. An Accel Super Stock coil helps spark off the gas. Stock manifolds through a new sweet sounding dual exhaust expel the spent fumes. Backing this is a Muncie 4-speed and posi rear. This Vette has power steering and manual disc brakes. The suspension sits just right and has that perfect stance. It rides on 15x8 Rally Wheels with BFGoodrich T/A Radial tires. This Corvette runs extremely well and drives very nice. Overall, this is a really nice Corvette that looks great, runs well, everything works, has two tops, and has original documentation for collectability. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is K13. August 1, 2010.
